There are many ways you can support the youth of our community through the Kaydance Ford Athletic & Trades Foundation. We will update with dates for the Annual Fundraisers as they come, but there are ways to support our youth year-round!

Becoming a sponsor is a large one-time donation towards a large need for the Foundation. Currently, we are looking for sponsors to help fund:

When you become a sponsor, you will receive a small framed certificate showing your sponsorship, as well as a thank you letter from the Foundation. Your sponsorship will also be advertised on the Foundation’s social media and website.
General Donation
General donations are made by e-transfer, cash, or cheque, and can be any amount. General donations can be made any time of the year, you do not have to wait for an annual fundraiser. These donations are added to the Foundation’s account immediately and are used on an as needed basis. E-transfers may be sent to kffoundation@outlook.com. If you have a cash or cheque donation, it can be mailed to P.O. Box 175, Elmwood, ON N0G 1S0, or connect with us by email so we can coordinate a time and place for local pick up. Some items your donation may go towards are:
– Funding a bus for a school sports team
– Funding a bus for a trades class to go on an educational trip
– Purchasing a tool for a trades class
– Purchasing materials for a trades class
– Paying for a student to participate in going on a sports trip
– Providing gym shoes/clothes for a student in need
– Providing safe clothing/footwear for a trades student in need
– Paying for a student and/or class to participate in an educational trades trip
– Purchasing sports equipment/jerseys for a local school
– Regular maintenance or replacement of sports equipment
– Fuel for the annual fundraisers (pick up of items from donors)
– Administrative needs of the Foundation
Annual Fundraisers
Annual Fundraisers are once-per-year events that we hold each year (beginning late 2025). All proceeds raised from these fundraisers are immediately added to the Foundation’s account and used on an as needed basis for many things (see list under General Donations). These fundraisers are the largest way that our Foundation raises money for the youth in our community. Watch for the following dates and locations to participate in the next Annual Fundraiser!
Annual Kaydance Ford Athletic & Trades Foundation Clothing Drive – Next Up: September 2026
We accept donations of gently used items for our clothing drive in September 2026. Items you may donate are clothing, books, DVDs, magazines, sports equipment, footwear, small housewares, electronics, home linens, etc. (no furniture and nothing bigger than a microwave). Items must not be stained, torn, broken, etc. Donations of gently used items will be accepted until the end of November 2026. We have Donation Locations all over Grey and Bruce Counties, see the list below to find your closest one.
The Clothing Drive will be advertised on the Foundation’s social media as the date gets closer.
Annual By-Donation Yard Sale – Next Up: May 2026
One weekend in each May, we will hold a yard sale where items are priced as By-Donation. All proceeds will go towards the Foundation. Good quality, gently used items may be donated for the yard sale. Please contact us by social media or email with a picture of the item you are looking to donate. Yard Sale will be held at Foundation Headquarters and more information will be posted on Foundation Socials closer to the date.
Annual Kaydance Ford Athletic & Trades Foundation Empties Drive – Next Up: July 2026
During the month of July, drop off your donation of empty alcohol bottles and cans to Foundation Headquarters. Look for the sign with the Foundation’s logo, it will be placed in a visible area. We accept all empty alcohol bottles and cans but if you have a large donation, please help us get through it smoothly by separating them accordingly, we appreciate the help in this part!
The Empties Drive will be advertised on the Foundation’s social media as the date gets closer.
Foundation Swag – Johnny K Sports For the Love of the Game – Next Store Opens February 2026
We have partnered up with Johnny K Sports to bring you Foundation Swag! Keep an eye on our social platforms to find out when our Online Store opens! It is opened to take orders for short periods of time throughout the year. The community can order hoodies, t-shirts, crewnecks, winter hats, and track pants. A portion of each sale goes straight into the Foundation account to be used towards many things for our local youth as well as costs of running the Foundation.
The Foundation Swag Online Store will be advertised on the Foundation’s social media when it opens.
Vendor Events – Spring, Summer & Winter – Next Up: Walkerton Figure Skating Comp. March 7, 2026
Our youngest Co-Founder has created keychains, bracelets, bookmarks, pens, stickers, and magnets to sell at local vendor events and craft shows. We will also have a donation box set up to accept cash donations and some take home information available to learn all about our Foundation! We will have tables set up at various events throughout the year so keep an eye on our socials to see where we are next!
Vendor Events dates will be advertised on the Foundation’s social media as we secure registrations.
Donate In-Like
We are always looking for items for our storage shed at Foundation Headquarters. This shed is used to house items for students in need. When a school or student reaches out to us, we either gather the items they need or invite them to shop in the shed. We also collect wishlists from our local schools within Bluewater District School Board and Bruce Grey Catholic School Board of items they currently need for their Athletic and Trades classes. If there is something on the lists below that you or your business can donate (or funds for these items), connect with us so we can set up delivery.
